One More from Comic-Con NY
While the 2008 New York Comic Con has come and gone, out of left field
comes a preview of Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning from the event.
Written by Saladin Yussuf from the Strumgrenadier forums, he relates
what EA Mythic presented at the Con. Looking at everything from
mechanics to graphics, he covers various aspects of the game
providing insight into where the game stands.
First
off the game is absolutely stunning. Screenshots and videos do not do
it justice at all. Crisp, vibrant, gritty, dark. War. The world that I
saw was seemless, well made, and lots of nice do-dads to add nice chaos
flavor, like mutated tentacle trees and dead bodies, stretched skins,
etc. The models are of very high quality with GREAT textures. My
marauder was a semi-hair covered man beast with chaosy spiky bits and a
very unpleasant look on his face.
