As the devs at Richard Garriott's Tabula Rasa would say, TGIFF (Thank Grendel It's Feedback Friday)!! Today a few player questions were answered, including PvP camping timers, length of the Trials, and a persistant friend/ignore list (FYI - the friend and ignore list is now accessible to every character on the account on the Test server, via Deployment 9). We also get a preview of a new technical update that should make Tabula Rasa a little nicer to your PC.

The "Bubble" is a new optimization we are working on implementing with Deployment 9 that causes the client to load only those static map objects (e.g. trees, rocks, but not creatures or usables) that are within a certain distance of the camera. Until now, we loaded all such objects up front. With this new technology, your client should use less memory, increase performance, and decrease perceived "hitching".
