Following in the footsteps of LotRO and WAR...

Lord of the Rings Online already has achievements, in the form of "kill x mobs, get achievement point". Well, it looks like it's coming to WoW with the Lich King.

I vaguely recall seeing or hearing or reading something about a new achievement system over the past couple of weeks at some point. But to be honest, with all of the excitement of other stuff I guess I just forgot about it. Well today it was posted in the forums and it really got me curious. I hopped on the coughsandboxcough and as soon as I landed I typed /achievement and sure enough, up pops a new achievement screen.
