Other than the fantasy genre, one of the clear genre favorites for MMO gaming is the "super hero" section of gaming. With City of Heroes and Villains setting a fairly high precedent, the two monolithic comic studios - Marvel and DC - both set their sights on the coveted MMOG prize. When Marvel dropped out of the picture, every eye turned to SOE's DC Universe, and now the company is deep into the creation of their first super hero title.
