This one is actually good, I think.

After an Illinois resident had to spend nearly two hours on the phone with customer service to cancel his son's Final Fantasy XI account, he decided to do something. He complained to his local legislator. And for once, that actually got him somewhere. The Illinois general assembly has passed a law that requires:

a game's website include clear instructions on how to cancel an account online, adding that no publisher or developer may require phone or mail correspondence for an account closure.

While this won't be a problem for many MMO websites, where account cancellation is pretty user friendly, it's more difficult on other sites. For example, this is the description of the Membership Information page for Final Fantasy XI:

On this website, you can use the following features from the "Membership" section of the PlayOnline Viewer:
- Member information
- Confirm Service History
- Confirm Membership Status
- Review Service Fees
Currently, the website is limited to the features listed above. In the future, more features will be added and users will be able to obtain Content IDs or change payment methods from the site.

Wait... so on you player management page, you can't change how you pay? One of those options is not paying after all.
