Tabula Rasa First Impressions - Page 2 of 2

Winding Down...

Eventually (after many deaths and many wasted bullets, shotgun shells, and medpacks) I realized I was going to need something bigger to deal with the tank that stood mockingly outside my base. The skills of Tabula Rasa presented themselves quite nicely, and I started off with a lightning based attack that began to highly damage the oncoming enemy. Lightning and metal tank beasts of big death apparently don’t mix too well, and after two attacks the big beast was destroyed!

There was no time to celebrate my recent victory, as a ‘flying death from above tank’ came swooping in with some kind of repeating laser bolts directed at me. Reaching to cast another electrical bolt at it, I realized I didn’t have the power to do so… back to my traditional weaponry it was. Thankfully this flying bad boy fell down to the power of a trusty laser rifle.

As I stood over the remains of the two tank-like baddies, I gave myself an imaginary pat on the shoulder and smiled at the carnage I had caused. Only after I had healed up did I notice that there were more enemies on the horizon, waiting to meet the judgement of my arsenal of deadly weapons… but that’s a story for another time…

Leaving the NCsoft booth at E3, I know full well that I will now be getting into not only the demo for AutoAssault, but continue eagerly awaiting Tabula Rasa and its live release. If games like Tabula Rasa do keep coming out, I will be forced to sell home, family, and ‘other services’ (like cooking and cleaning… you sick sick people!) in order to keep up with MMOs on the market. Thank you NCsoft for destroying my life, and making me smile while I do it!
