SWG Battle for Echo Base Launches in October

Posted Fri, Sep 05, 2008 by Medeor

Battle for Echo Base to coincide with North American winter.

The game that was left for dead by many is making splashes with some timely additions. Next month Star Wars Galaxies will deploy the eagerly awaited Chapter 11 which will include the Battle of Echo Base in addition to the first Halloween event called The Galactic Moon festival. Both of these new events come on the heals of one of the best card games (let alone online card games) I've seen in the new Champions of the Force.

In addition to the above, Dotanuki relays this on the official forums:

"# Game Update 6, release TBD, will focus on Politicians, Player Associations, and Spies.

# Game Update 7, release TBD, will focus on Domestics and Structures.

# We do not have any firm Update plans beyond Update 7, though there are several strong contenders under consideration.

# Chapter 12, Droid Commander, will include a revamp of the Droid Engineers. This will allow them to make droid parts and components as well as droid consumables. There will also be a new expertise tree to go along with this Chapter. Chapter 12 will release in 2009."
