Bigger is Not Always Better

With the onslaught of MMORPGs , Awenyddion determines that bigger does not always mean better. Games like World of Warcraft and Warhammer may be on your radar, but maybe it’s time to take a look at the smaller independent niche games. Sometimes, those are the games that give you the most bang for your buck.

The evolution of MMORPG’s has brought us into an arena where investors and developers alike are competing for our attention. With World of Warcraft raking an untapped market, the playing field has just gotten a little bit larger. Unfortunately there are some who see MMO games as a means to make “Money Hat” cash, rather than a well designed game. Somewhere along the line, it stopped being about making a game for the “love of the game.” As the years have gone by, more and more people are getting into the MMO groove. However, none dreamed that the roof could be shattered by the force of World of Warcraft’s millions of subscribers.
