Hammerer or Choppa, who will it be?!

We all celebrated mightily at the end of last week when Mythic Entertainment announced that two of the four cut classes will make it back into Warhammer Online by the next major patch. The bad news side of that coin has come out today.

One of the other two classes that were cut before release will not be making it's way back in. Which one? Well, we don't know yet. But Marc Jacobs, head guy at Mythic, assures us that we won't be left hanging no matter which one it is.

Of the two remaining originally planned careers, the Dwarf Hammerer and Greenskin Choppa, one is set to return to the game at a later date, but the other will be replaced by an as-yet unknown class.

"Well, one of them we hope to put back in," Mark Jacobs told Eurogamer and GamesIndustry.biz when he spoke to us last week.

"I can't tell you which yet, that's a surprise. We're probably going to be replacing one and putting in another class in its place. But we'll be talking about that in a few months."

Hopefully for the sake of Mr. Jacob's flame-retardant suit, it will be the Hammerer that's replaced. Too many people have spoken too fervently about the Choppa for the suit to survive the assault should it disappear. Unless of course it's replaced by snotlings. Who doesn't want to be a snotling?
