In a surprising move this week, Activision Blizzard recalled
it's entire stock of the incredibly popular style="font-style: italic;" href="http://wow.tentonhammer.com/"
target="_blank">World of Warcraft expansion
target="_blank">Wrath of the Lich King.

Truckloads of Lich King boxes can be seen heading back to Irvine and Blizzard HQ.

Citing background music they felt was
inappropriate for the game, a redistribution of the product has begun
immediately to meet expected demand.  While there was no
official
comment from senior management, Ten Ton Hammer proceeded with some
investigative reporting to determine the source of the recall.

Included in the background music was a series of Tibetan
monks
chanting in a monastery.  While many were quiet about the
potential
cost and reasoning behind the music, a few employees were forward with
their opinion.  Lead Designer Jeff Kaplan wasn't pleased at
all with
the current selection.  "It's offensive to me honestly" he
states, "I
mean it sounds like a bunch of people burping and talking at the same
time.  Hell if I want to listen to that I'll just call up my
frat
brothers and host a beer pong tournament. Activision Blizzard
RULES!"

Many other employees share Kaplan's feelings, however the Head of
Public Relations dismisses these opinions.  Referred to only
as Mr.
Green and speaking from behind a screen they stated, "Activision
Blizzard is in the midst of reprogramming their employees.
Did I say
reprogramming?  I of course meant retraining.  Screw
this!  I wasn't
here and neither were you, understand?"  We'll have more as
updates
become available.
