Gamers show up and shell out for the cure.

We are all big fans of the cure, no, not the band from the 80s that made Morrissey seems happy, the cure for cancer is what we we're talking about. Gamers in Georgia gathered to help a worthy cause and be among the first to play Global Agenda, the upcoming MMO from Hi-Rez Studios. Per an email sent out by Stewart Chisam from Hi-Rez:

"Thank you to everyone that attended the MISSION: Pwning for a Cure event this past Saturday -- all 300 of you. Because of you and our wonderful sponsors, we raised $4,700 to fund the fight against blood cancers. And had a lot of fun in the process.

We hope you enjoyed it, too."

Good work Georgians, and grats on being the first public eyes to see and play Global Agenda. If you want to see more about this interesting new PvP centric shooter MMO, go to Global Agenda.
