can't you look at last years post, I believe he's explained what Thanksgiving is, however in the interest of international relations I'll explain it.

Thanksgiving is the day when we menfolk have convinced our womenfolk the old ways are best and they get up at the butt-crack of dawn, spend all day in the kitchen molesting innocent fowl and prepare a big feast that goes 2/3 un-eaten after which we re-enactments of battles between titans and Lions, or some such.
