Ten Ton Hammer - Taking MMO Gamers to the Next Level!

This year at the San Diego Comic Con, Ten Ton Hammer had the opportunity to see the upcoming SOE super hero game, DC Universe Online, in action.  In an exclusive video filmed at the event, Lead Designer Jens Anderson gave a quick rundown of some of the game's unique features, including a rather impressive looking super speed ability that allows players to run straight up the side of buildings and back down the other side.

Expanding on the topic of movement powers in DC Universe, a new dev. blog by Chris Cao discusses some of the mechanics of Flight, Super Speed and Acrobatics.  

Firstly, you’ll have combat powers based exclusively on your ability to fly. Want to catch up to that super speedster who’s racing away? Hit your intercept ability and swoop in for the kill. Need to get across the city right quick? Boost your flight speed and leave your enemies reeling from the sonic boom.
