The Drizzt Do'Urden MMOG Coming to PC and Console

Everybody can play as our favorite gold-hearted Drow in the Drizzt MMOG.

Westwood, MA December 12 - Turbine, Inc. a leading game developer in North America announced an agreement with Wizards of the Coast to develop a massively multi-player online role playing game (MMORPG) based on the Dungeons and Dragons: Forgotten Realms campaign setting. Referring to the project as "Drizzt the MMOG," it plans to provide the opportunity to play in a virtual world where players can ignore the complex customizations of normal games. While much is still in development it has been revealed the background will take place exclusively in the myserious world of the Dark Elves and have only the Ranger class as a choice.
"We are very excited about the prospect of this Intellectual Property" Jim Crowley, CEO of Turbine said. "We've seen the names in every game, whether it's Drizzzzt or Drizzzzz't and want to provide them a home. Away from the mocking, we want players not to be burdened with things such as 'originality' or 'choices.' You want to be a Dark Elf Ranger, carry two swords, and kill everything? So do I, so why can't we both live and play in this world and even have the same name?"

Greg Leeds, CEO of Wizards of the Coast said, "Oh my god, would you people just leave us alone? We're working on the D&D Dungeon Builder as fast as we can! I'm sorry we even showed it to people. What? Oh, yes the Drizzt thing. Our people say we haven't quite squeezed that dry yet so we are completely on board the cash train. Woo! Woooooo!"
