Game Update 44 Brings This and Much More

SOE's new trend of providing free content to EverQuest II players continues with the much anticipated Game Update 44! Raiders may rejoice, because this time around, the content is for you!

The Shard of Hate, remnants of the formerly known Plane of Hate, was the astral plane ruled by the vindictive God Innoruuk. It seems that this home of the Prince of Hate is now no less grim that it was years ago or any less willing to consume Norrathian adventurers in it's ghastly tomb. Beware the dangers for this newly found realm will not be kind to those who dare enter.

In addition to this new zone, Game Update brings many more features that I know many were looking forward too.

The Rangers will be receiving some much deserved love. It's been a long and passionate struggle for these guys and it finally paid off. In GU44 the weapon ammunition will no longer scale down unless your ammunition is a much lower level than your weapon. You may also display your bow graphic rather than your hand weapon graphic, which is very cool for those who have bows that they really would like to show off!

Freeport's Coalition of Tradesfolke is getting a make over. It seems that those crafting in the slums want to keep up with this Qeynosians. Who can blame them though, being good just looks so much better.

Finally, there are two new armored wargs that will be available for a mount choice! This are impressive looking beasts so if you happen to favor the wargs for your primary means of transportation, you'll definitely want to check these out!
