Wood Elf Racial Guide

Wood Elf Racial Quests

Treehuggers. I mean, Wood Elves. So cute and pixie like. When you step off the boat from the Isle, you'll run smack into Aelis. This is your new best friend. Sure, (I think it's a she) is a little whimsical in the brain pan, but hey, she liked the 60's as much as the next person.

Quest One

Aelis sends you to talk to Davyn Thornbranch. This troubled young man can be found just outside the tunnel into the Willow Wood to your right. Talk to him and report back to Aelis.

Quest Two

It seems that Davyn needs help. In fact he more than needs help, you're pretty much doing it for him. But, you love everyone cause you're a big ol' hippie, so it's all good. (Not that there's anything wrong with being a hippie... Really. Just, ya know... Dark Elf.) The first thing Aelis needs you to do, is to go out and pick some leaves. Make sure you get each leaf from a different bush please. Once you've gotten them all, she gives you approximately 1s and a Gatherer's Pouch (which would have been useful while you were gathering, wouldn't it have?).

Quest Three

While Aelis is thinking, she/he/whatever (very Orlando Bloom pretty, not sure what you are, these Wood Elves), sends you off to talk to Davyn again. Perform a task for him, Aelis says. Any task. Be it little or small. So what does he have you do? Track down this rabid wolf that's been wandering the villiage. * sigh * Follow the signs and come across the wolf. Poor thing. It's all foamy and grr, mean, grr. Put the poor thing out of it's misery and return to Aelis. Hazard pay is a good thing, and you recieve approximately 2s 40c.

Quest Four

The next thing you need to do for Aelis is collect some flowers. These spawn all over the Willow Wood, so just run around and grab them up. They're pretty. Once you have them all, return to Aelis. She hands you the tribute and a Bouquet of Woodsun Flowers to put in your room.

Once you've gotten the Tribute, return to Davyn. He's all moved and weepy, and says that since you really were the one who made the Tribute, you should be the one to put it on his friend's grave. Of course, this is all the way at the very back of the Forest Ruins. Off we go!

Quest Five

Run to the back of the Forest Ruins, being careful to avoid the very large and angry pirates (YARR!) who run around trying to smoosh little Wood Elves. At the very back Northeast corner, there is a person named Ilaen Lilac. Right over her head on a little ledge is the grave you're hunting. Hurry up and lay the Tribute and get out of there. Cause let me tell you, whoever said that Ninjas were better than Pirates, clearly hasn't been jumped from behind and one shotted by an angry Pirate!

Where ordinarily, you would recieve instructions to go somewhere else and work on another series of quests, this just appears to end. It's quite possible that they knew I was a Dark Elf in my heart and chose to thwart me in my attempts to try and be a Wood Elf, but I really don't know. At this point, I'd recommend following the Forest Ruins quests, and then the Caves. Good luck, little treehugger!
