Tunare Deity Quests Walkthrough

by: Tony “RadarX” Jones

So you want to follow Tunare and bring forth healing to the masses? Good for
you! Tunare has a number of abilities which are extremely beneficial to healers
in particular, but unfortunately if you have an evil alignment, no heals for
you. Here is how you complete your quests.

Your quests begin (and end) with Eva Corunno’thes who incidentally was the
same NPC doing the god quest in Antonica. You can find her in Kelethin on the
first platform where the Old Acorn Lift is inside a building.

Note before you get started: You MUST speak draconic to finish the last
quest. You’ve been warned.

A Time of Growth (Level 25) –

You’ll need to be level 20 to start this quest, unless something has changed
from beta. Eva will send you to spread some blessed…dirt.. Is it close by? Of
course not! You’ll have to travel all the way back to Antonica to Vhalen’s Tower
for starters. If for some reason you don’t know where this is, it’s east of the
guard towers in the middle of Antonica and past the trader house. Look to your
left slightly off the path and you can’t miss it. Look for a pot behind the
tower to clicky. Next, you’ll need to head to Elddar Grove in Qeynos and find
the big tree in the middle. Look for a clicky, select take a sapling, and head
to your room.

You’ll have a sapling in your inventory but you will need to place it in a house in order to care for it. Right click
the plant and use each action in the order in which it is listed. When you are done, pick it back
up and head back to Greater Faydark. You’ll be asked to plant the tree at the
base of Tunare’s Sapling. Look for a log just away from the edge of the pond the
tree is next to (26, 116 approx) and clicky. You are done! Head back to Eva!

Those Who were Lost (Level 35) –

You’ll need to be 30 to start this quest. Eva will send you to the Enchanted
Lands to assist dryads turned in lamia (who we already despise from a certain
HQ). Head to EL and start making your way to the western side of the island. At
certain locations you’ll trigger a lamia who will attack you. The locs for these
spawns may very so run to the end of the lazy drain (buy chameleon totems if you
don’t have invis) and make your way along the beach north until they attempt to
beat you senseless. There will be four spawns (one more than it takes to drive
you insane) and you’ll be done.

All finished! Head back to Eva!

Imperiled Druid Ring (Level 55) –

No I don’t know why there is no level 45 quest, but you’ll need to be level
50 to do this one. Speak to Eva again. It’s important that you stick around
until you receive “a field altar” in your inventory. I’ve heard of people
running off before it updated.

You’ll head back to Antonica towards the Hidden Vale and find a clickable
boulder at – 2183, -933. You’ll want the Imperiled Druid Ring solo instance. The
instance scales to your level and has a few nasty mobs in it. Most do not see
invis so you don’t have to clear the zone unless you feel like it. There are 3
amplifiers to find. I didn’t write the locs down because the instance isn’t THAT
big. You’ll need to do them order if I remember correctly and a single up spawns
when you approach each amplifier.

Next you’ll need to harvest 3 bushes for basil, sage, and rosemary (mmmm
cooking). Next you’ll head into the druid ring for an update. You’ll find a
movable stone table in the ring that should be placed in the center of the druid
ring. Examine the field altar that you so patiently waited around for in
Kelethin and select the combine herbs and then pray for Tunare’s blessing. Head
back to Eva for your reward and pet ability.

The Priestess of Lesser Faydark (Level 65) –

Wisp Pet

Eva will start you on this quest as well. You’ll be heading to Lesser Faydark
to the Wu camp in the northwest region of the map. You are looking for Vergo
Stormhold who wanders the area nearby. He will give you some leaves.

You’ll be tracking the bad guys now and your quest journal isn’t really
clear! Move down the trail looking for clickies while you go. You should find
your first “bits of fabric” (692, -253), just a little ways down. The second is
a “hair ribbon” (616, -34), the third “dried river mud” (337, 145), and finally
a “torn page” (234, -52). Pfftt, who needs a Ranger to track anything? Templar
tracking baby!

Time to find Estella Evenheart. Head to the Fae Court (-275, 400 approx) and
talk to Tullia Laarivera who will tell you stupid Estella is in a cave with
monsters of course. Jump in the river and follow it north and through a
waterfall where you’ll locate a climbing wall. At the top, hang a left and
you’ll see a cave. Now this isn’t too painful for a 70, but if you aren’t 70,
you’ll want some help along. A level 59^^^ spawns right in front of where you
are going. Wander down to 70, 327 to find Estella who will give you a bunch of
excuses why she is there.

Tunares Cloak

Head back to Eva who will reward you.

Faith (Level 70) –

This is the last one, the one to get your cloak. As I stated earlier, you
MUST have the draconic language to complete this quest. If you don’t, before you
complain, see how many heroic encounters everyone else has to do, then complain.
Eva will send you back to Lower Faydark, and you’ll find the Loa’Sur River. Head
north until you reach the source and you’ll see a small boulder which will take
you to an instance called “Guardian of Growth.” If you select the wrong thing,
you’ll end up in Emerald Halls which is a GREAT solo instance. *snicker*

Move up the river when you zone in and speak to Kaarla Teofaunta. Head
northeast along the river until you find a hole with a climbing wall down into
it (416, -111). Ignore Wuoshi the ginormous dragon along the way, you’ll be
back. At the bottom of the climbing wall you can avoid the bears (or kill them)
but you’ll want to find a “damaged fae acorn” around (-446, -147). Examine the
“damaged hollow acorn” in your inventory for an update. Return to Kaarla for
your next step.

Kaarla wants you to talk to Wuoshi. “Screw that!” wasn’t a dialogue option so
I went ahead and did it. After some talking, Wuoshi will give you some Tunare
Wolfsbane and boot you from the zone. I’ve heard rumors the Wolfsbane will have
something to do with another quest later on so don’t destroy it. Rumors are it's useful against Mayong Mistmoore in the Castle Mistmoore raid zone.

Head back to Eva to receive your cloak! The cloak requires level 67 and adds +30 to healing which is great for priests. You’ll have unlocked all the miracles that can be used by a follower of Tunare.
