DDO's Community Relations Manager Sporkfire announced today that Xundau as taken the position of Beta community manager. Sporkfires post in the official forums reads like this:
| "We are pleased to announce that Xundau, previously our Online Community Specialist here at DDO.com has stepped up to become Turbines Beta Community Relations Manager. In this role, he will be responsible for coordination communication during the DDO Alpha and Beta phases between you, the community, and the Turbine Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach team. The Community Beta Manager is a new position here at Turbine and will help coordinate Alphas and Betas for all of Turbines upcoming projects.
Xundau and I have already been working closely together on Alpha/Beta planning, and will continue to do so. We will be maintaining the communication pathways between players and developers through Beta forums, and updating the global community through regular updates on highlights, news and impressions that come out of this phase. What does this mean for DDO community in the meantime? It means we have a space to fill here on the Community Team.
