Dungeons & Dragons Online: Stormreach (DDO) Community Specialist Samera made a lot of people happy today when she posted an announcment explaining that Europeans will be able to play on North American servers. The catch? To play on the North American servers, Europeans will need to purchase a North American copy of DDO. Much the same as regional coding for DVDs, DDO will connect to the appropriate continental servers:

We want to make sure that players living in different countries (such as military or on business) can still play with their friends back home. So, regardless of where you live, if you have a US client, you will be able to access the servers located in the United States. Likewise, if you have a European client, that client will allow access to the European servers.
