Sir Lawrence Makes an Appearance

Remember Turbine is trying to stress the server so they need as many
players as possible to join them:

This weekend, we would like to
encourage as many players as possible to join us on the Risia Test
Server.

Those that play will have an opportunity to win prizes from Best
Buy, NVIDIA, and Logitech, as well Beta invitations for href="http://lotro.turbine.com/" target="_blank">The Lord of the
Rings Online™: Shadows of Angmar™
and in-game items! Sign on to try out the new Demon Sands dungeons,
compete in Sir Lawrence's Gauntlet event, buy and sell from the new
Auction House and preview everything that our next Module update has to
offer!

For the previous Risia event, we copied characters from the live
servers to Risia so you could play one of your favorites. These same
characters are still there, and just waiting for you to take them
through the Demon Sands (see the Knowledge Base article below for
details on when characters were copied from the live servers to Risia).
You will also earn 10 times the normal experience for all dungeons and
objectives you complete on Risia for the weekend!

Lawrence's Gauntlet event,
and you could win a $200 Best Buy Gift Card! Eight runners-up will win
$100 Best Buy Gift Certificates! The event will run from 8PM to 11PM
