Weekend Fun Fest



Here it is again! So soon after the last time, we are invited to log
into the Risia Test Server starting today (October 13, 2006):

The Risia
Test Server is online again for the weekend! As always,
visiting the Risia Test Server gives you a chance to preview the new
features and content coming with The Demon Sands module before they hit
the live servers! Log on this weekend to play!



We are continuing to improve our tool for copying characters to the
Risia Test Server. Characters were copied from the September 25
database of every live server. The characters previously copied to and
created on Risia have been deleted with this newer set.



When you log into your character for the first time, you may notice
certain changes from the live servers and previous visits to the Risia
server:

• If your character’s name conflicts with another character from
  another server, their first name will be appended with the name of
  their home server. So, Sporkfire would appear as Sporkfire-Argonessen
  if there is another character from another world with the same name.
• Your
  existing Friends lists from the live server will not be available on
  Risia Test Server. The Friends List is still functioning, and you can
  add new characters to it.
• Guilds have been copied over, and
  your character’s guild information will remain in-tact. However, Guild
  Officer ranks were not transferred.
• All items in your character’s mail at the time of the copy will
  be available on Risia.
• Players
  who have unlocked the Drow should now be able to create new Drow
  characters and should have access to the extra character slot that
  comes with unlocking the Drow.
