Samera has announced a possible hotfix to go on the heals of their
hotfix:

We are aware that players who came into the game through the
trial
program but are now full customers are missing their dragonshards. We
are working on a fix for this now and hope to be able to Hotfix
tomorrow. We will keep you informed as we learn more or if the plan
changes.
