40 Guilds and Counting!

I’ve decided to take a look at guilds today. Guilds are a funny thing to me. Some people bounce from one to another changing them often, while others find a guild and set up shop staying there for years on end. Where do you fit in this? Do you play the same games your guild does? Do you follow them from game to game?

We have a very active guild recruiting section here on our forums and I know the other sites have them too. Guilds have been recruiting for Vanguard Saga of Heroes for months now and the game isn’t even out of beta! How soon is too soon to start making your team and making a plan for world domination? By the looks of it, it’s never too early!

Lets review a little…As of the writing of this column there are just shy of 40 guilds listed in our Guild Hall. You can find guilds for all sorts of players. Hardcore raiders, family guilds, crafting guilds and many others all are calling out for members. How do you know if a guild is right for you if there isn’t even a game live yet to meet the folks in?

These are all questions that make me wonder if it’s really the game that matters and not the people who play it. I have seen time and time again relationships grow from simple forum posts and turn into long lasting friendships. So let’s hear from all you out there.
