Burglar Skill List: The Book 12 Edition

The Burglar class is the most stealthy and sneakiest class in Middle-earth. They serve as the nimble damage dealers and can dazzle their opponents with their riddles. The Burglar class will be receiving their "Month of the Burglar" update with the launch of Book 12. This will bring many changes for this class and a lot of new skill. In keeping current with these changes we have redesigned our Burglar Skill List to reflect the most up to date information for this class.

(Note: As with all classes, the skills listed below may vary in stats and damage depending on the level of the character.)

Trick: Disable
You can strike at a foe to slow their attacks for a short while. You can only have on trick on a target at a time. Main-hand Weapon damage

You have the ability to move about unseen, though there is a chance enemies may detect you, especially when moving in front of them.   -50% Run Speed

You are able to make another attack after a Critical Hit, inflicting more damage when attacking from behind. Main-hand Weapon damage

Touch and Go
You can improve your ability to evade your enemy's attacks for a short time.   Using this skill will not break stealth. This skill shares its recovery timer with Knives out. +50% Evade Chance

Riddle
You are capable of posing Riddles to your enemies, which may momentarily distract them, dazing them for a short time or until damaged. This will not work on Beasts, Insects, or Creatures of Nature. Dazes for up to 30s

Mischievous Glee
You can surprise a foe with an active Trick on them, removing the Trick and restoring some of your Morale. This will never miss against on level targets, nor can it be parried, blocked, or evaded. Will break a target out of being dazed.

Exploit Opening
You are able to stun your target, creating an opportunity to use Fellowship skills if you are in a Fellowship. Main-hand Weapon damage

Aim
Your careful aim ensures the next damage-dealing attack skill will result in a Critical hit and has a much lower chance of missing. This skill will not break Stealth. Duration: 10s

Burgle
While sneaking about, you can attempt to lighten the pockets of unsuspecting targets. Range: 4m

Addle
You confuse the enemy so thoroughly that he fails any skill he attempts in the process, and any subsequent skill attempts for a short time will take longer to execute. Doubles the targets induction duration

When in Stealth, you can divert and enemies attention away from yourself for a short time. Using this skill will not break stealth. Range: 20m

Mischief
Instead of sneaking, you set your mind straitway to Mischief. While active, your Tricks and Twists cost less power to use and the recovery timer of Riddle is reduced. This skill can only be activated out of combat and cannot be used while sneaking. -25% Tricks and Power Cost

While maintaining this ability, you are able to point out weaknesses in your enemies defenses, increasing damage taken from attacks. Using this skill will not break stealth. Toggle Skill

After using your Burglar's Advantage, you can make two attacks against your target. 2 attacks:
80% of Main-hand Weapon damage

At camps scattered across the world, you can call on your contacts to find a Peddler to whom you and others may sell items in your possession. Cooldown: 30m

Trick: Counter Defense
You execute an attack that will lower the enemies defenses for a short time. You can only have one trick on a target at once. Main-hand Weapon damage Reduces Parry, Block, and Evade by 5%

With some effort you are capable of purging poisons from an ally. Removes up to 1 poison effect with maximum strength of 4 from the target.

You can knock and enemy down opening up an opportunity to use Fellowship skills if you are in a Fellowship. Only usable while in Stealth. Main-hand Weapon damage

Clever Retort
Mischief must be active to use this skill. Sometimes, you even surprise yourself. Usable on an enemy with an active Trick on them, it does one of four different things from healing yourself to harming your target. This removes the trick. Will break a target out of dazed.

Hide in Plain Sight
You can disappear from before your enemy's eyes. For a little while, your Stealth is improved and even taking damage will not break your cover. Using this skill will not break Stealth. Briefly undetectable in stealth

Find Footing
When dazed, stunned, knocked down, or knocked out you may quickly recover, gaining Morale and temporary improvements to your evasion. Using this skill will not break Stealth. +96-101 Morale

You can use your enemy to focus his aggression on his current opponent, whether that is yourself or an ally. Main-hand Weapon damage

Trick: Enrage
You enrage your foe causing him to flail around at any target he considers a threat. You can only have one trick on a target at once. Target will attack enemies at random

Well Placed Strike

Seize Initiative
After your fellowship performs a successful Fellowship Maneuver, you can use this skill to reset the recovery timer of your Aim skill, Location is Everything, and all the skills in your Critical Response chain. Cooldown: 20m

Mischief must be active to use this skill. You confound nearby foes which slightly slows their attacks and will daze them if not cured before it expires. This will not work on beasts, insects, or Creatures of nature. Slows attack speed by 5%

Swift and Subtle
You are able to perform your subtle stab with greater speed, inflicting more damage. Adds 10.0% to subtle stab damage, Line Bonus: increases critical chance with Burglar skills by 1% Strike using Subtle Stab 1250 times
Hidden Dagger
Your attacks while using stealth are far more accurate, reducing the chances that you may miss or that your enemy may somehow avoid them. Subtracts 5.0% from all enemy defence chances, decreases your miss chance, Line Bonus: Increases positional damage multiplier by 3.0% Use your special Stealth Attacks 300 times
Perplexing Riddle
Your riddles are far more perplexing than your foes can comprehend, both stunning and mesmerizing them. Line Bonus: Increases agility by 10. Use Riddle on Enemy 200 times.
Ambidextrous
You are able to wield your off-hand weapon more efficiently, dealing greater damage to your foes. Adds 15.0% to off-hand damage multiplier
Line Bonus: Increased critical chance with Burglar skills by 1.0%
Level 15 Class Quest
Strike from Shadows
You are able to land precise blows when attacking while using stealth, increasing your chances of landing a critical hit with surprise strike, cunning attack, or provoke. Adds 5.0% to critical chance, Line Bonus: Increases positional damage multiplier by 3.0% Land critical blows when using stealth 150 times
Disabling Attack
You are able to use your disable skill to greatly reduce your enemy's speed. Line Bonus: Increases Mischievous Glee healing by 2.0% and 1 pulse. Use Disable against an enemy 600 times
Trickster
Your dust in the eyes skill affects multiple enemies nearby.

Dust in the eyes is now AOE Line Bonus: Increases Mischievous Glee healing by 2.0% and 1 pulse.

Use Dust against an enemy 1000 times
Footpad
Your ability to move about with stealth has developed beyond your natural aptitude Adds 2 to stealth level, Line bonus: Increases positional damage modifier by 3.0% Use your Distraction skill successfully 1000 times
Focused Eye
You are able to take aim more quickly than you once did. Reduces the recovery time of aim by 30.0s. Line Bonus: Increases critical chance with Burglar skills by 1% Use aim in battle (using it before combat starts also counts)750 times
Side-Step
You are able to evade attacks more easily than before. Adds 3.0% to evade chance, Line Bonus: Increases Agility by 10 Evade enemy attacks 1250 times
Opportunist
Improves your counter defence skill to further increase your opponent's vulnerability to critical hits. Increases Mischievous Glee healing by 2.0% and 1 pulse. Use Counter Defense 350 times
Overwhelming Odds
The effects of your tricks are increased after you participate in a conjunction. Increases the output of your Conjunctions, Line Bonus: Increases agility by 10 Execute Conjunctions 150 times
Leaf-Walker
You are able to move more quickly while using stealth. Your stealth is improved, enabling you to move quickly when hiding, Line Bonus: increases positional damage multiplier by 3.0% Use Hide in plain sight skill
Blind Fury
When you enrage your foes, they are likely to engage you in melee combat. Line bonus: increases Mischievous Glee healing by 2.0% and 1 pulse. (lasts for 30s) Use Enrage against your enemies 400 times
Appraising Eye
You are skilled at detecting even the smallest weaknesses in your enemy's armour when using your reveal weakness skill." This trait improves your reveal weakness skill, Line bonus: increases agility by 10. Level 30 Class Quest

Legendary Traits

 

Legendary Traits are started with books for every class that drop randomly throughout level 39+ areas. You'll need to speak to the hero for your class, in this case Bilbo Baggins in Rivendell.

Flashing Blades: After using your Double-edged Strike, you can make two additional attacks against your target.

Knee Breaker's Manual -

Sweep the Knee: Your Trip skill does not break Stealth and recovers much more quickly. This increases your Trip ability. Decreases Trip reset time by 40.0 seconds
