Overwatching Evendim

Ost Forod is a rough and ready community located in the high country of Evendim, overwatching the road leading north to Forochel.  Now, the entrance to Forochel is watched by evil men, and many of the folk out of desperation have turned to treasure hunting among the tombs of the revered rangers of this land.  Assist the Watchers of Evendim in overcoming the greed of the folk turned to evil, and restore order to Ost Forod by doing the many quests found here.

This are is appropriate for level 34 through 40, and around Ost Forod you will find many there are mainly tier 3 products, though many of the mobs here drop pristine hides rather than sturdy.  It is a good place to grind tier 3 if you need, since most people grind the North Downs or other areas for that sort of thing.  Regarding enemies, you will find that the bandits and bears are the biggest threat.  The wargs are dangerous, but the bears will debuff you like mad, and the bandits are just a little more dangerous than other similar leveled creatures.

36	Parr Chopley	A Striking absence of Boar	Ost Forod	Parr Chopley let his stomach lead him too far, wandering the northern ways into Evendim, where he chanced upon the rough town of Ost Forod. Nevertheless, he has not let it daunt him. He is in the mood for a nice, hearty boar-steak, but he is concerned that he hasn't seen any boars in all of Evendim.	Spend Time Looking for Boars in Evendim (30 minute timer) Evendim is a big place. There should be boars somewhere. Parr Chopley is convinced that there must be boars somewhere in Evendim and wants you to spend some time looking for one. 36	Ballard Wilmer	Ballad Wilmer and the White Warg	Ost Forod	Ballard Wilmer had an encounter with white Wargs in the hills of Tyrn Fornech and is now deathly afraid of the creatures.	Defeat White-wargs  (8) White wargs stalk the hills of Tyrn Fornech, but can especially be found in the vicinity of the Duskencleft, north of Ost Forod. Ballard Wilmer told you of his harrowing encounter with a Warg and has asked you to defeat some of the vicious white Wargs of Tyrn Fornech. Defeat Tomb-robber captain at cirith Rhiw The captain of a robber-band maintains control of the road leading to the gate at Cirith Rhîw, north of Ost Forod. Spring Standish has asked you to defeat a tomb-robber captain at Cirith Rhîw, in hopes that the rest of his band will disperse. (Author's Note: Finding the captain is easy, just follow the road north to Forochel.  But you will want at least 2 friends.  He can be killed without player death by burst hunter damage, but when you attack the captain you draw fire from 3 others at the same time.)	20S, 30C Standish's Shoes (heavy armor)
36	Rowena Parker	Practiced Villainy	Ost Forod	Rowena Parker is concerned at the increasing boldness of the tomb-robbers that creep among the hills of Tyrn Fornech.	Defeat Veteran Tomb-robber (8) Defeat Scouting Tomb-robber (8) Veteran tomb-robbers and scouting tomb-robbers can be found among the hills north and west of Ost Forod, in Tyrn Fornech. Rowena Parker has asked you to defeat the experienced tomb-robbers that prowl the hills of Tyrn Fornech. (Author's Note: simply troll the countryside east of Ost Forod and you will find them, or just head to Rantost if you wish.)	19S, 95 Parker's Jacket
36	Poppy Seaton	Goblins In The Hollow	Ost Forod	Poppy Seaton is distressed by the fact that goblins have taken up residence so near to Ost Forod and wants something done about them.	Defeat Goblin's at Tum Fuin (12) Goblins have made a camp at Tûm Fuin, north of Ost Forod in Tyrn Fornech. Poppy Seaton has asked you to do something about the goblins that have taken up residence at Tûm Fuin. (Author's Note: If you can handle two of the level 36 goblins you are fine, but I strongly recommend you stay well away from the packs of boggarts, and keep an eye out for them.)	19S, 95C Seaton's Robes
36	Clark Standish	Escape from Duskencleft	Ost Forod	Clark Standish encountered a gang of tomb-robbers at Duskencleft, and believes they might have hidden a satchel of stolen relics there.	Collect the Satchel of Relics The satchel of stolen pottery is somewhere in the Duskencleft, south-west of goblin-infested Tûm Fuin. Tûm Fuin is north of Ost Forod. (Author's note: Duskencleft is much easier to approach from the west rather than the east.  The satchel is located in some bushes in the north east side of the wall at Dusken cleft, it is small, but is literally at the collapsed wall.)	19S, 25C Standish's Gloves
36	Robin Dunkley	Ran Afoul of the Bears (Requires Unfriendly Eyes in Ost Forod)	Ost Forod	Robin Dunkley has shared his delight at the misfortune of a band of tomb-robbers with you and wants you to recover any artifacts they might have been transporting.	Reclaim Stolen Relic from a tomb-robber corpse. A group of tomb-robbers ran afoul of the bears at Nan Orngon, east of Ost Forod in Tyrn Fornech. Robin Dunkley has asked you to find the bodies of the tomb-robbers at Nan Orngon and recover any artifacts they might have stolen. Collect Choice Cuts of Bear-Meat (8) Bears roam the hills of Tyrn Fornech and can especially be found at Nan Orngon, east of Ost Forod. 36	Robin Dunkley	Ancient Statuary (Requires Ran Afoul of Bears)	Ost Forod	Robin Dunkley, encouraged by your retrieval of the broken statuary carried by the ill-fated robbers that ran afoul of bears at Nan Orngon, has charged you with recovering more of its pieces.	Recover 12 Small Statue pieces Recover 4 Large Statue Pieces Tomb-robbers in Tyrn Fornech may be carrying small statue pieces, and larger pieces can likely be found in their camp on Rantost, the island west of Ost Forod. Robin Dunkley has been inspired by the broken statuary you recovered with the dream of remaking the complete statue and wants you to recover the pieces of it. 36	Robin Dunkley	A Howling in the Hills (Requires Ancient Statuary)	Ost Forod	Robin Dunkley has told you that the people of Ost Forod are worried about one of their own, a hunter named Nat Rapkins, who has not returned from a hunt in the eastern Emyn Uial.	Find Nat Rapkins Nat Rapkins crossed the Even-rills at the northern tip of the lake, north-west of Ost Forod, and never returned. Robin Dunkley wants you to search along the edge of the lake near the Even-rills for the missing hunter. Robin Dunkley heard a dreadful howling along the shore at night and is worried that Nat Rapkins might have fallen to some evil beast. He wants you to try and find the lost hunter. (Author's Note: The Even-Rills are found at the far north of the map.  Nat Rapkins is on the west side, at 4.0S, 69.7W.  He has a visible quest ring.  He wishes his pack brought to Ost Forod.  A group of wild Guaredain attack, so you should flee.  You probably can survive a slip off the cliff here if you wish to escape.)	19S, 95C

Place the Statue of Elendil on the Pedesal There is a pedestal on the islands of Tyl Ruinen, in the middle of Lake Nenuial, where the statue of Elendil you bear once stood. Tyl Ruinen is across the lake from the island of Tinnudir. While you journeyed to meet with Gwindeth, Robin Dunkley set about remaking the broken statue you recovered from robbers in Tyrn Fornech. A poster advertising a bounty for the capture or defeat of a tomb-robber named Andy Idden caught your eye. If you would like to apply for this bounty, you should speak with Poppy Seaton. 2. Defeat Andy Idden Andy Idden and his wolf-hound are meeting with the goblins of Tham Andalath, hill-top ruins east of Canadiach in Parth Aduial, south of Ost Forod and north of the road. Defeat Thauk The Warg Thauk is in the goblin-camp at Tûm Fuin, north of Ost Forod. You have accepted the commission of the bounty on Thauk. (Thauk patrols at the read of the encampment, and is a 37 named elite.  The best way to get to him is to watch for boggart patrols and piecemeal clear goblins until you can cross to the back of the camp.  An altar there indicates you are at the right place, and there you can defeat him.  I recommend being either with friends of level 37 at least to do this)	20S, 30C and Thauks' Bane (Heavy Armor)
