MMOs, the Final Frontier: How Will Atari Help EVE Online?

By Reuben Waters -
EVE Online is somewhat of an anomaly among MMOGs. For years the game has happily existed in the realm of digital distribution, with a slow but steady population increase bringing new players into New Eden. This coming March though, thanks to a publishing deal with Atari, EVE will be hitting retail shelves and establishing a presence in stores before the impending flood of new sci-fi games hit the market. This week, Reuben “Sardu” Waters takes a closer look at what this publishing deal might mean for the future of EVE.
