WAR: Is The Sky Really Falling?

Posted February 5th, 2009 by Brokain

Lately there's been a lot of news coming out regarding Mythic and Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning, some that could be described as ominous. In the last week alone we've heard about a second round of layoffs and what could be seen as a staggering drop in subscriber numbers. Across the different internet forums, people are talking about leaving the game or criticizing it after they already have left. Is WAR really failing or are people just talking and holding onto the recent bad news? We take a look at why Warhammer Online is still a strong game in WAR: Is The Sky Really Falling?

...just this week, another round of layoffs for the Dev team was announced and it was revealed that the colossal number of people playing the game had dwindled from 800,000 to just over 300,000. The answer to that, is of course, no. No matter what you read on the internet, no matter which naysayer is telling you the game is doomed, WAR is here for a good long while and I'll tell you a few reasons why.
