The Shadow Warrior

By Darkgolem

House Phiarlan's member are often born with the Mark of Shadow, able to disappear and move stealthily in there business.  With these innate abilities, the Shadow warrior is a unique group of warriors of that esteemed house.  More durable than a normal rogue, but still able to get to places they shouldn't be, past locks and gates, the shadow warrior's key ability is the ability to surprise the enemies of House Phiarlan, appearing where they are next expected, and defeating their enemies quickly and effectively.

In combat, the shadow warrior should move toward combat (invisibly if it is a major combat) from the flanks, picking vulnerable targets.  The shadow warrior should try to flank opponents once their aggression is toward more "kick in the door" style party members.  If the shadow warrior needs to be a front line fighter (or more accurately, finds him or herself unwillingly in that position) they should use displacement to increase their survivability, and move away from major combat if possible.  Whenever possible, the shadow warrior should use tumble.

Outside of combat, shadow warriors are excellent rogues, though not able to handle the most high end traps.  They also are excellent for soul stone recovery, able to use invisibility and shadow walk to quickly get stones and escape enemies who might notice them.  Remember that shadow walk breaks if you interact with anything, so you should use it to escape, using invisibility to approach enemies.
