The mercenaries of House Deneith are
a varied lot, however, one elite among it's ranks stands out, the
Deneith Mage Slayer. Using the mark of sentinel to protect
themselves in combat, with the specialty of defeating spell casters,
these warriors are deadly enemies against any
href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=117">arcane
or divine caster. Highly resistant to magic, and able to inflict
massive damage in combat, the Denieth Mage Slayer is much feared in
battle.
In combat, the Deneith Mage slayer should single out spell casters for
death, moving quickly to them (using sprint boost) and then beating
their opponent to pulp. When faced with an arcane caster, they
should prepare with a
href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=175">
protection from elements spell, and use major globe of
invulnerability when their opponent is cornered (to keep them from
casting). In those times when they are being peppered with magic,
the
href="http://ddo.tentonhammer.com/index.php?module=ContentExpress&func=display&ceid=377">globe
of invulnerability is very useful.
Aside from fighting arcane casters, the mage slayer is very deadly in
combat, but more useful as a damage dealer once aggression is upon
other opponents. However, even in those circumstances where being
on the sidelines is not a choice, the mage slayer is very apt in a
front line, stand up, fight.
