Runes of Magic Shuts Down Beta

Long awaited release in motion
Runes of Magic publisher Frogster announced today their final preparation for the Runes of Magic Launch March 19th. With the beta servers coming down in just a few short hours players will log back in Thursday to a new and Live game. As a thank you to beta players however, it appears they will retain their characters just with no experience.
So here's the plan: Tomorrow on Wednesday, 18 March 2009, at 2am PST / 11:00h CET we will take down almost everything.
The Runes of Magic game servers, the official website and the official forums.Only the patch-server stays online. We want everyone to be able to keep their clients updated so that when we go live on Thursday not everyone tries to download the patch at the same time. Be aware: if everything goes to plan, it might take a while to get through. Good news: there is no need to download a new version of the client!
