This allows you to adapt when fighting different types of monsters. Getting a card that will make you dominant over another type will make your attacks stronger, better and more effective, allowing you to defeat the monster even faster.

A nice feature of the transformation system is that you can change your appearance at will. If you pick up a rare card, you’ll be the envy of everyone!

Monster Dominance:


To transform, access the transformation window using ‘n’. The menu will list all the transformation cards you have obtained. Cards will not appear in your transformation menu until moved from your inventory.  Through the transformation menu, players will be able to transform and de-transform. Please note if you log out of the game while transformed, you will automatically be returned to your regular character. In this menu, you will also be able to tell if the monster has combat and flight abilities. Combat capabilities are represented by a flame icon and monsters able to fly will have a wing icon next to their name.

However, you can still have a pet summoned in your transformed state - you could even transform to the same monster as your pet! Players can also remain fused with their pets while transformed. This can be used for battle strategy, perhaps fusing with a fierce, high hp pet and then transforming to a monster with an hp bonus, making you an extremely formidable tank.

The transformation system is one that every ESO player should consider. Along with the pet system, transformations give players the chance to use new abilities to win battles they couldn’t otherwise.
