Tales of Pirates Player Cops Go Bad

Posted Wed, May 13, 2009 by RadarX

Tales of Pirates is part of the IGG family meaning they work a little outside the box. In recent months they've allowed players to take on the powers of "police" and lock up spamming accounts. Well a few rogues decided to abuse these powers and some clarifications have been made to assure it doesn't happen again. You really don't want to see the "Little Black Room."

Some players have reported that some newbie cops have been mistakenly arresting spammers, overusing their Arrest Warrant powers and trading Arrest Warrants. Now we will be clarifying the responsibilities of Player Cops. Please read carefully and think it over before doing something rash and uncalled for!

If you don't believe us, check out the original story at their official site.
