Square Enix Sued for "Unfair Business Practice"

Square Enix is in the middle of a new class action lawsuit involving its MMORPG, Final Fantasy XI. The plaintiff in the case is alleging that Square Enix engaged in unfair business practice. The plaintiff, Esther Leong of San Francisco, alleges that Square Enix lied about or concealed its monthly fees, penalties for late payments, interest, restrictions, and other things that Leong says should have been fully disclosed.

The class is seeking damages of up to five million dollars. Stay with us as we try to learn more.
