Star Wars: The Old Republic is expanding its horizons as Bioware and Lucasarts announced today that the game into French and German. New French and German websites have been launched to support the new localization for each.

Welcome to the official Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ website! If you are just now joining us, we originally announced Star Wars: The Old Republic in October 2008. Today, we are revealing that BioWare and LucasArts will be localizing The Old Republic into French and German and we are launching the French (www.swtor.fr) and German (www.swtor.de) versions of the official website. This entire site is built around our shared love of Star Wars™, and our passionate commitment to great gaming. We hope that it will become the center of an incredible community.
