The highly anticipated East meets West MMORPG Aion, finally hits shelves today in what has been hailed as this year's biggest release. Pre-order fans participating in the Early Start program have already pummeled servers causing a barrage of long log in queues to play on some of the more popular servers.



While no word has been made yet as to how NCsoft intends to handle another surge in players, they have made it clear that they are attending to the situation often asking for feedback on wait times.



With nearly a year since its release in Korea, Aion's North America and European release version has what most games do not at release, more than a year of testing and bug fixing that promises a smooth gameplay experience for an expectant fanbase.
