EverQuest 2 will be getting a new game update on December 8th, 2009 with the release of Will of a Tyrant. The update will feature the second prelude event to usher in Sentinel's Fate, strange events, massive bug stomping, and spies. This week Sony Online Entertainment offered up a preview of the coming update of what players can expect to see when the update goes live.

Will of a Tyrant is planned to go live on December 8th, 2009. While most of the update is a massive bug stomping expedition (the team has their big boots on!) there are a few nifty features that everyone should be sure to check out! The second prelude event to usher in Sentinel's Fate will be made available. Attack Upon the Crowns will run until the next update in February.
