Star Trek Online at Ten Ton Hammer

Have you ever wanted to name your own Star Trek starship? To have the next iconic starship to warp into space named after your idea? Now is your chance. Cryptic Studios is holding a contest that will allow you, the players, the chance to name an entire class of starships in Star Trek Online. All you have to do is take a look at the three vessels created by Cryptic and fill out the form with your ideas. If you're idea is selected, you will receive a poster of your named ship and a copy of the Star Trek Online Digital Deluxe Edition game. Actually, you'd be naming an entire class of starship. We have three previously unseen Starship classes in Star Trek Online. They're Tier 5 vessels. These top-of-the-line Cryptic specials represent the future of starship design. And, all you have to do to name one (or all three) is look at each of the three images we present to you below, squeeze a bit of creativity juice out of your brain and into your fingers, and submit a suitably awesome name you deem appropriate. The submission fields are even provided for you!

Winning names will be announced on January 8, 2010 and will be included in the Star Trek Online game when it launches February 2, 2010. Eligible winners will also receive a poster of their named Starship class and a copy of Star Trek Online (the Digital Deluxe Edition).
