Sony Online Entertainment (SOE) is expanding its relationship with the microtransaction company Live Gamer. Recently, Live Gamer posted a press release with details of their new expanding partnership with SOE to bring upgrades to Live Gamer with Elements, an enhanced technology platform for primary and secondary markets that Live gamer states, "will improves publishers’ ability to drive improved conversion rates, average revenue per user and retention through new tools such as an upgraded enterprise storefront, retail merchandising capabilities, advanced item offers and new analytics features for payment gateway optimization."

SOE will be the first publisher to implement Elements to power microtransactions. Games that will take advantage of the Live Gamer platform include EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Free Realms, PoxNora, and other future titles. Click here to read the full press release for more details.
