As a hero, you want to stand apart from others, forging your own identity. To that end, your costume must reflect your individual integrity as a hero. You don’t want to fight crime in some thrift store clothing, do you? Heck, no you don’t! You want to have cool armor, a flowing cape, and tapered gloves to show that you mean business. While the character creator gives you a ton of choices, there are many costume pieces that you can unlock in the game. Your pals at Ten Ton Hammer are here to show you a small sampling of what you can unlock in Champions Online.

Most of your costume unlocks become available by completing perks. Most perks require your hero to defeat a great deal of enemies (anywhere from 1000 to 5000) to achieve that perk and unlock the costume piece. To get the costume piece, you have to go to a perks vendor and spend your perk points to get the costume piece.
