Lord of the Rings Online MMO News, Guides, and Features at Ten Ton Hammer

With the launch of The Lord of the Rings Online: Siege of Mirkwood out of the way and the storyline of Volume II concluded, Turbine decided to release new information about the next part of the game's story titled, Volume III: Allies of the King. The first part of the new story, Book 1: Oath of Rangers, will offer players four new skirmishes and a 12-person mode in the shadow of the Necromancer’s Tower as they return to Dol Guldur. Level 65 items will also be added to the crafting stage to aid players in their quest through the new content.

The War continues to rage in the North and your skill and bravery is still needed in Mirkwood. In the latest release from the award-winning The Lord of the Rings Online™, your part in the epic tale continues in Volume 3:Allies of the King, Book 1: Oath of the Rangers. Return to Dol Guldur and fight in four Skirmishes with new 12-person mode in the shadow of the Necromancer’s Tower. Plus, fire and madness waits in the Depths of Nûrz Ghâshu, an additional new Skirmish where you must rescue a brave fighter from flame and shadow. To help you meet the dangers ahead, you can now craft items up to level 65.
