Story is absolutely integral to Star Wars: The Old Republic, so it stands to reason that the writing team is involved at all levels of the project. That's one big reason why we were thrilled to speak with Lead Writer Daniel Erickson at the LucasArts campus during our recent trip to GDC 2010.

Daniel fielded general questions about story and voiceover progress, but also tackled some tough questions about how group members share story moments. He then shares how BioWare hopes to please Star Wars generations ranging from the original film series to expanded universe devotees to neophytes getting their first taste of Star Wars through the animated "Star Wars: The Clone Wars" feature. The interview ended with the question on many fans' minds: what tack will SWTOR take regarding microtransactions?
