EverQuest 2 barbarians can now rejoice as the great city of Halas s about to return. New comments from Game Designer Nathan “Kaitheel” McCall and Zone Artist Stacey Norman have been posted talking about the return of the barbarian city and how it fell to the Rallosian horde during the Age of War. After the defeat of the Rallosian horde by the mysterious green mist, the barbarians returned to their home only to suffer the destruction of the Cataclysm. But after Erollisi Marr sacrificed herself, her brother Mithaniel Marr set out to reestablish the city as a beacon of hope.

Mithaniel was aware that the city of Halas, the home city of the Barbarians, had been utterly destroyed during the Cataclysm and the Rending, and he felt it important to reestablish it.  They were his and Erollisi's children, after all!  And at the center of this New Halas he would plant his sister's statue to serve as a reminder and spiritual inspiration to all.
