Cryptic Studios Chief Creative Officer Bill Roper has been doing a number of interviews of late, but one in particular caught our attention over at MMORPG. The interview itself was focused around Cryptic's current titles, Champions Online and Star Trek Online, and what it takes to develop and maintain an MMOG. But when he was asked about the rumors that Cryptic's 3rd MMOG was a D&D Forgotten Realms title, Roper didn't confirm or offer any solid information on what the title was, but he did responded with some curious comments that hinted at a possible reveal of the secret title coming this summer.

I can't speak to the specifics of what we're doing, but it's true that we have another game in the works. We won't be making an announcement until late summer, and we're still a ways off from launch. I can say that this is a game and a franchise we're very excited about. I think people are going to pleased and a bit surprised with what we're doing in terms of the game, how we make it, and even how we sell and support it.
