Bungie's upcoming co-op shooter, Destiny, is looking like it embodies some very MMOG-like mechanics after its reveal last night at Sony's press conference. During the stage demo, the team showed off plenty of gameplay, including an in-game public event that featured several players fighting off fighting off dropships of enemies and somewhat symbolic of gameplay elements familiar to players that may remember Tabula Rasa or more recently, the Defiance style arkfall events. During the event, a second group of players joined the fight, so just how many can be on a given server is somethig to watch out for.

You can check out Bungie's demonstration of Destiny from last night's event via the embed from IGN along with the new trailer below.

Destiny is currently scheduled to release for the PlayStation 3 &4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles. A PC version has not been ruled out nor confirmed as of yet.
