Bigpoint got the attention of many gamers with their announcement of the browser-based Battlestar Galactica Online MMOG. The Bigpoint team was finally ready to show off a little bit about the game at E3 2010. So what did we learn about the sci-fi MMOG? Read on to find out.

The game setting takes place around the second season of Battlestar Galactica as this is one of the highest points of conflict in the series. When players first log in, they will be prompted to choose their faction: Cylon or Humans. They will then be thrust into the conflict between the two sides. PvP will be a big part of the game and we were told that players will be looking over their shoulder throughout the game, which makes sense as the show operated on the same principle.
