Curt Schilling's decision to move 38 Studios to Rhode Island to secure up to $75 million in loans has drawn quite a bit of fire from local politicians in recent months. But it seems that 38 Studios will be getting less than anticipated as the initial $75 million has been shaved down to about $51 million for 38 Studios with the rest going into a special account to cover payments of debt according to a report from WPRI-12.

38 Studios will receive the money as it meets certain milestones over the next 15 months. If things go as planned and the studio makes all of its milestones it could receive up to an additional $13 million in funding, which will help fund the completion of the studio's RPG Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning and the tie-in MMORPG codenamed Project Copernicus.
