Final Fantasy XIV Review at Ten Ton Hammer

Posted Thu, Sep 30, 2010 by B. de la Durantaye

In celebration of the official launch of Final Fantasy XIV, Ten Ton Hammer guest writer, Ralsu, reviews the game in its entirety. Can FFXIV hold up to other new titles? How does the game play for new players and Final Fantasy veterans alike? And, most importantly, is the game worth your dollar?

The degree to which FFXIV differs from the competition and the level of revision from open beta product to the retail install mark a theme for the review: Square Enix does things very differently in a market dominated by companies all trying to clone the success of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft.

Ralsu discusses it all in our Final Fantasy XIV review.
