En Masse Reveals New Class, Race and Achievements for TERA

The amani offer a vicious new look to for TERA players.

TERA players received another surprise today with the announcement of the dragon descended amani as the game's newest playable race and the Lancer as the newest class. Adding an extra sweet layer to the reveal is new details about the game's achievement system.

The amani are descendants of dragons with reptilian features and skin. We recently, caught up to TERA's Lead Writer David Noonan to learn more about the amani. Find out what he had to say in our exclusive interview.

The Lance is a class that relies on attacks such as the Lancer Charge and Onslaught to plow through enemy formations. Learn more about the Lancer and the new achievement system in the latest release.

Typically, MMO gamers play with the goal of leveling-up, acquiring the best items, and completing quests in order to craft the ultimate character. TERA expands upon this basic player experience with a richly designed achievement system that offers fresh challenges and unexpected rewards. Players can garner acclaim through a wide variety of achievement types, including exploration- and quest-based achievements, PvP achievements, statistical achievements (such as the number of potions consumed or the number of deaths), and even social achievements like talking to every NPC in the game!
