Trion Worlds has unveiled new information and screenshots profiling the latest dungeon for Rift: Planes of Telara. The Abyssal Precipice sits atop the snow covered mountains of Iron Pine Peak. Cultists of the Dragon Lord Akylios seek to awaken the ancient horror to learn the location of Akylios’ prison and are willing to do anything it takes to discover his location. Cultists of Akylios make camp throughout the Abyssal Precipice, manning eldritch machines meant to pinpoint and draw out the spirit of the banished cephalon. They have planted seacaps in the snow around their camps, and the vicious little crustaceans pounce on any intruders who draw near the cultists’ sensitive equipment. Furthermore, water elementals patrol the cliffs, large enough to drown a full-grown Bahmi in their flowing bulk.
