If you're looking for a bit more Aion XP this week you're in luck. Starting February 23rd, players can log in and enjoy another Aion Double XP event. The event will run through March 9th, 2011. In addition to a double dose of XP, the Aion team will also be introducing a new event called the Gateway Getaway, which will allow players to enter special gateways to access instances regardless of fort ownership. So if you've been unable to access certain instances because your faction has been getting their collective butts handed to them by the enemy, now is your chance.

During this Gateway Getaway event, we will introduce special entrance gates that allow your characters to enter instances despite fort ownership. You can enter a selection of the Upper Abyss fort instances and Divine’s Abyssal Splinter from the home territories of Primum and Teminon, and access Silentera Canyon from inside your home base in the Illusion and Gelkmaros fortresses.
